  12. I made this in 95/96. so it doesnt represent my work today.
  13. It was my first "big" idea/project and later based on another
  14. game on aminet wich involved controlling your "car" on a few 
  15. coloured track.The game was playable, but it lacked versatility
  16. mainly because it was turned based.
  17.    my "clone" is realtime and uses 16 colors, but has just 2 players.
  18. On schartschtrue(something like that),u could have 4 or 6,
  19.  maybe 8 too(i dont remember).

  22. 1.1 update:

  24. engine sound with throttle (swaped with irritating "music"loop in background)
  25. fixed bug in GUI that caused wrong controls if you held down any cycle gadget
  26. more tracks, and renamed old levels

  30. uses 16 colours , each color representing an effect (almost)
  31. realtime
  32. 2 players
  33. optional sound effects (not an irritating loop in the background anymore)
  34. control with port0 port1 and cursor keys + right alt
  35. aga colour fade on one colour (WOOOOW!!!)
  36. the "snakes" have no limit in speed and direction
  37. you can edit or create your own tracks with a paint package (dpaint)
  38. it has an ugly but surprisingly useful GUI
  39. it multitasks (if you turn sounds off , you can listen to music instead)

  41. conclusion - the game is plain and sh***y,but has cool sounds :].

  46. hold in one direction, and the snake/car will go more in that direction
  47. Fire=brake  <-- its useful  dont think otherwise

  52. the tracks you can select have different filename suffixes(after #?.)
  53. wich means,
  54.  
  55. race:
  56. E - an easy track
  57. M - a mediocre track (average)
  58. H - a hard track
  59. misc:
  60. F - a fun track
  61. T - a test track , to test new combinations and drawings
  62. B - a bad track. u cant reach finish,
  63.     or my code doesnt handle the track the way its supposed to be
  64. TUTORIAL - for beginners or when representing a new palette
  65. I - a track with usefull info or other miscelaneous things

  67. u may take this into consideration when creating\editing, you dont
  68. have to ,but if\when you upload tracks to aminet(or me).

  73. tracks:
  74.   draw\edit in a paint program and change palette(except colour 
  75.   register 5 !, hvite!)
  76.   name them whatever you like (preferably with extensions)
  77.   upload to Aminet(or send me a mail). I want you to cause I will
  78.   include good ones if\when I upload new versions because of
  79.   feedback\ideas wich I also want.

  82.   upload to aminet(game/data) or to my mail(but I will pick the
  83.   better ones to include)

  87. this game is\was "fairly" easy to code in basic and does not
  88. represent the quality of your Amiga at all!
